This property has to be one of the stars of our trip to Japan! The Onsen is magnificent! The food they serve you for breakfast along with the evening ramen snack were delicious. Staff were very helpful. However, the hotel was very crowded and full of young children, even late at night. I had booked the hotel with hope to enjoy the onsen. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights but every time I tried to go in it I found it so overcrowded that I turned around and left. It was not a good experience for the price.

The property is well located in Dotonburi. Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. Room is clean and facilities provided. However the room facing the street is super noisy as motorcycles blare their engines at various times after midnight and emergency vehicle will sound their siren and loudspeaker at 1am. Not sure why they need to sound the siren when the street is all theirs. Something Japanese i guess

While it sounds impressive on paper, the actual experience was underwhelming. The hotel was overcrowded with tourists, cleanliness was subpar (we had to request a room change), and the tiny bathroom made it inconvenient—most guests, including families with children, seemed to rely on the onsen for bathing. Overall, unless you’re looking for a cheap backpacker-style stay, it’s hard to recommend beyond the surface-level perks.
