Great location unfortunately Miss Lucy’s was closed entire time we were there this was something we had looked forward to as our son had stayed in the Auckland property the kitchen was very crowded so cost more to go out which was a shame and would have helped to know before booking . A pretty cool place that’s like an upscale-ish backpackers hostel. Best thing is it’s location which is right smack in the main centre! Only downside is parking—you either book their parking for a fee, or park in the paid public parking right across the hostel. Not a problem overnight coz free parking from 6am-8am. Also, the only heating available are oil heaters, which unfortunately isn’t quite enough. But overall, a great accessible and convenient place.

Shower rooms and toilets were always clean. The kitchen was dirty at times due to some guests leaving dishes unwashed, but it was cleaned regularly. The rooms were warm and comfortable, but there were few places to hang towels, etc., so there were a few days when there were many guests staying, making it difficult to dry wet towels after a shower. The staff at the reception was very friendly and the overall stay was very good.

Good location

It’s got a great location for access to Queenstown and is a good option if you’re adventuring on a budget. We stayed in a queen room and it was small, but clean and comfortable. Walls are thin. If you’re looking for a hostel, this is great, kitchen set up looked useful. If you’re looking more for a hotel, this is not really set up for you.

good location, the rest I didn't much care for

The room was very small. the kitchen is of course shared which is fine, but people would take some of the utensils and dishes and there wasn't enough sometimes. The fridge was not as well organized as some of the other places. I would probably choose a different place next time but I am older and this is more suitable for younger crowd, and I get that.
