Wonderful two night stay. Hosts live on site and were attentive to every need. Beds were comfortable and the screens on all the windows and porch allow for a bug free, cool air environment. Can't wait for the date to get set for next years race so I can book this again!

As a B&B Shoud Be

The owners of this bed and breakfast showed a great deal of thought that went into maintaining their business. The owner greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour which included a homemade torte, location of cold beer, reading and tv watching rooms. Our bedroom upstairs was on the small side but big enough to tuck our suitcases out of the way. Comfortable and clean are the adjectives I would use to describe the room. Breakfast continued to demonstrate the owners' attitude, locally sourced eggs, homemade sausage, homemade pastries, locally made breads, etc. You see the pattern. We decided to rate this B&B as a four for two reasons: noisy traffic and lack of a lock on the door that I could figure out. On leaving we were given two sweet treats and a container of maple syrup. Of the five B&B's we used, this was the best!

Neysa and Kimball were terrific hosts making us feel at home. We had great stay with spacious suite, beautiful décor, excellent breakfast and lively conversations. We had nice tips on what to see and where to eat. Overall their warmth of hosting stood out and will highly recommend.

What they don't have

I liked everything about the place, except, there were no locks on the bathroom door upstairs or the room I stayed in. Also, keep in mind, the rooms don't have fridges. They were nice to allow me to put my freezer blocks in a small freezer they have.

The best bed and breakfast

Amazing! The food is perfect, thanks to Kim. Neysa fascinates us with history trivia about New Hampshire. They are very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Cozy B&B in great location! We visited Tamworth, NH as we heard it was a beautiful little town. We wanted to go somewhere where we could get exercise every day and there were so many activities to choose from! Our host and hostess sent us off with an AMAZING breakfast every morning. You want it, they’ve got it! From fresh eggs, locally made yogurt and granola, scones and jams to buttermilk pancakes using dairy produced by the cows up the street plus their own maple syrup. And can’t forget their delicious apple cider and local kombucha! We felt spoiled! Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was very, very comfortable. They have a hot tub on site which is great after a day of exercise or if you just want to relax. They also have a pretty screened in wrap around porch where you can sit, read and take it easy. Next time we go, we’ll spend more time on the porch and we’ll stay over a Sunday night as they have local musicians play in their barn. I’m sure that’s a lot of fun!

Great Bed and Breakfast!

Wonderful time at this lovely B&B. Amazing breakfast on the screened in porch each morning. Room was very comfortable and clean. Owners are great and very knowledgable about the history of the area. Easy access to Castle in the Clouds, Meredith, Wolfboro, 1 hour from Canterbury Shaker Village. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an old farmstead - truly. The rooms are smaller and the beds are VERY comfortable. The bath is down the hall, or on the first floor. The owners - Kim and Neysa - are wonderful friendly people! Very knowledgeable about the area and just great people! This place was a perfect stay for our night in Chocorua Thank you Neysa and Kim!!

What a great place to go and spend an overnight. Neysa and Kimball were great hosts and made us feel like we were at home. We even helped out a little with their fall harvest and had a great breakfast in the morning, all locally grown or farm-raised products. And thanks for the bottle of maple syrup, we look forward to trying it in the next couple of days.

Great B&B

Very nice couple runs this B&B. Great company great food - the bacon they served was 90% meat 10% fat. Where did they get such a treat? Beautiful are of New Hampshire.

Lovely relaxing experience. I was there only one night but wished I had planned to stay longer. The scent of flowers blooming was welcoming. The sound of the falls nearby as I was falling asleep was very relaxing. and the Breakfast on the screen in front porch was wonderful complete with a visit from some hummingbirds.

Homey and traditional New England experience

I stayed at the Farmstand on a night when there were no other guests so I had the place to myself. It is an old new England home with all that you need for a homey experience compared to a cookie cutter hotel room. You will have to share a bathroom if it is a busy night. I would probably use it again if my family needed more than one room for a local stay. The owners are great and the breakfast was delicious, using all homemade and local products. If you enjoy staying at B & B's you will enjoy the Farmstand

Little gem in New Hampshire

I arrived to find the owner, Kimball, actively involved in teaching a class on Apple cider pressing. Naysa, the other owner, welcomed me and while removing cookies from the oven, showed me around. The room was clean and the bed was great and the breakfast! Treat yourself to this little wonder if you are in or around Winnipesaukee.
