Wonderful stay for families

Showboat is a great stay for families with children. The rooms are up-to-date and roomy. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL. The only hiccup I had to know fault of the hotel is that I needed a microwave for my son’s food who has food allergies. I assumed the hotel had them in the rooms or a public space for families with young children. I hope they would consider that in the near future.

The hotel keeps updating and making nice improvements. It also seems a little more secure each time we stay. Used to be a little sketchy but moving ahead. Check in was the best yet. We stay here twice a year for many years. Overall Atlantic City is making improvements. The casinos seemed to have taken over the boardwalk improvements and security. It is better.

Where do I start? I was told about the resort fee, but not the $150 deposit they would hold as well. I was also unaware that parking cost $25 a day. I am disabled, so the walk from the parking garage to the main lobby and then to the elevator was ridiculously long. The staff was a bit rude, but didn’t have too many interactions after check in. There was a broken elevator.
