I use the Pivot all the time when I visit Jhb. The service is aleays good. The rooms needs upgrading as it really still the old style hotel rooms. The TVs are not smart so this makes it even more old school....

The guests received the wrong room type on check-in... where they were placed on the 2nd floor that's all smoking rooms, while a non-smoking room was booked & requested?! Personally, I can't imagine that while in SA one is not allowed to smoke inside buildings any longer, that it is still even allowed to smoke inside hotel rooms as being seen as public places - awful!

Lovely hotel on a fabulous complex. Everywhere was spotless but the room was a little tired in places and the shower leaked into the toilet. Breakfast service was slow but they were incredibly busy. This is a large hotel with a wonderful outside patio area

This hotel is lovely, staff are helpful and the rooms are nice. It has Charlotte Rhys toiletries which I love. The rooms are large and clean. My room had a balcony over the front of the building. We had dinner at the nearby casino restaurants which we were dropped off at by the complementary golf buggy transport, welcome because it was raining. Nice area too.

I loved everything about the hotel. The staff were kind and generous as people,always happy and ready to help.The shuttle service was amazing ,excellent drivers and always available and charming . Can’t fault anything.Biggest disappointment was having to leave ,can’t wait to visit Pivot again.Special wishes to all the wonderful staff.

From the airport the kindness of the the driver and the hotel staff and restaurant staff. Can't ask for better the humbleness kind and respectful. The rooms spacious and very well kept! The. Eds are incredibly comfortable! Can't wait to visit again!
