The hotel was central & everywhere was easily accessible. It was clean, staff were friendly & the room was kept topped up with snacks. However, I was surprised to be contacted the day before to be told I had to pay in cash even though room was secured on credit card!! I then had to make appointment to check-in as there isn’t a receptionist there all the time. This was quite stressful as the trains were on strike so we kept having to re-arrange our arrival time to schedule our 15minute slot to check-in. Finally, the breakfast is at a cafe down the street & you’re only entitle to one croissant, coffee & a bottle of water!
