ability of being great hotel but need renovation

It has the makings of being a great hotel but needs some money spent on renovations as it is looking tired. Carpets Rooms Bathroom Staff are great

Good Value for money, comfortable stay

Good location and the bar served food. Good value for money
Sudhakar, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great value and fabulous location.

Everything was spotlessly clean. The building was a bit run down, with threadbare stair carpets, wooden windows beginning to rot and leaky gutter outside my room. My full English breakfast was perfectly cooked and excellent value. I wasn't charged for extra eggs and tea and toast to finish with. The parking was good and the location beautiful next to the model village of Sunlight.
Roderick, 2-night trip

Good value hotel

Comfortable room, but the hotel could really do with refurbishment. The carpets on the stairs and upstairs corridors are threadbare. Couldn't fault the friendly service though!
Neil, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Grade 2 listed building unfortunately dated accomodations and furnishings but by all means happily stay again as love port sunlight village, friendly staff in the bridge 👌.
Chris, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The competitive rate, really friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, great value / well cooked food and amazing surroundings more than offset some property issues raised in other reviews. Would stay again without hesitation.
Neil, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

I personally really loved the area, it was quite easy to get around by car or walking. The hotel is located inside a small village, the area around it is very nice, green and quiet. The staff was great and friendly, the food was okay, but the infrastructure of the hotel most definitely needs an update. Walls are cracking in the room, I found a whole on the ceiling in the bathroom from a water leak that, you can just tell this home was built in the late 1800s. Overall it’s a great place to stay, and you get your money worth (compared to other places it’s quite affordable imo)
Miguel, 4-night trip

Hotel was lovely in a great location. Staff were all very nice and friendly. Food was lovely and very reasonably priced. Enjoyed our stay. Room and beds very comfortable. We will return
agnes, 3-night trip

Clean and comfy

Clean and comfortable place to stay. Admittedly the stair carpets could do with replacing, but overall very good.
Neil, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Located in the historic village of Port Sunlight the Bridge Inn provided comfortable and clean accommodation with friendly and attentive staff. Reasonably priced food options and pleasant walks to enjoy.

ELIZABETH, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good value for money.

Friendly pub / hotel, listed building with old windows, etc but clean, tidy, friendly staff, excellent value for money, food quality and price - you couldn't ask for better.

Peter, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Very pleasant situation. Hotel could do with a little modernising but was clean and the staff at reception and the dining area (Sean) were very welcoming and attentive . Overall a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely make a return visit.

require a refurbishment

rooms were very run down with threadbare carpet in the room and conmmunal stair carpet was held together with duck tap. however staff were friendly and helpful. food was not that good

Welcoming & clean

We are regular visitors to The Bridge and have always found staff friendly and helpful. Although the decor en route to rooms is a little worn the bedrooms themselves are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is a useful facility and provides good value for money
Julie, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Hotel and staff were good. Food service a problem

Stayed here last year and the food service in the restaurant was much better. Evening meal the first night i waited about 40 minutes for the meal to arrive (the food itself was good). The second night there were no bar staff behind the bar for about 10 minutes with customers all waiting. Two other people complained that they had waited half an hour for food at which point the staff said the computer in the kitchen might not be picking up orders from the bar computer so i left to make other arrangements which was inconvenient.
