Pleasant stay with a few drawbacks. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable, making for a relaxing base. Staff were friendly and helpful—especially appreciated the lovely walk recommendation. Breakfast was good quality ingredients and nice, although the dining area felt a bit cramped. Unfortunately, cleanliness let the room down slightly, with stained carpets and hairs on the bathroom floor on arrival. Noise from the room above was quite disruptive, especially being woken at 1am. With better soundproofing and a deeper clean, it could have been a perfect stay.

Lovely B&B in a great location. 10 mins walk in either direction to shops, cafes and restaurants. The lake is just a few minutes more in the one direction. Car parking available. Lovely rooms. Very clean. Most comfortable nights sleep I've had in a very long time. (I'd love to know where the mattress and pillows are from so I can purchase for home) I arrived several hours early prior to check in and was allowed to leave my car whilst I went out for the afternoon. I was given my room key at this point too. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and very delishious too. We had a lovely stay and would stay again. Have recommended to a friend already. Thanks. The room was really lovely, light, plenty of room, with a nice ensuite. We were greeted with a cold drink and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again. The location is perfect being in between, you can go to either part of the village easily. Parking availability is a bonus.
