This property is a hidden gem. So close to the town and cruise ships if you are taking a cruise out of Rome. The rooms are beautiful and very clean overlooking the sea. Loris met us at the train station and just a 5 minute walk to his hotel. Ambra had a wonderful breakfast waiting for us every morning. Loris and Ambra were so welcoming and friendly. I felt like family by the end of my trip. I highly recommend this property you will not be disappointed. Thank you!

The owners were fantastic, Friendly and helpful. The room clean and well appointed. The bathroom was private but accross the hall. A bit different but we adjusted. Close to the water front. A nice breakfast included. They helped us with transportation to the pier for our cruise the next morning. Loris carried our luggage up to our room and brought it back down when we left. STUNNING! If you are contemplating where to stay in Civitavecchia for a cruise or visiting, just book la casa sul mare. Amazing location and gorgeous views. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon before boarding our 2nd cruise and we absolutely loved it. Clean, safe, and very homey, but also feels luxurious. It is central to everything - really good restaurants, supermarkets, and the seaside. We also did laundry before our 2nd cruise nearby which was super helpful. Very convenient location to get to the ship and everywhere else. The owner and manager were super friendly and helpful (also speak multiple languages). They are very passionate about the city and very kind. Highly recommend. Great experience.
