If you’re here for the movie history, you’ll probably be charmed by the outdated rooms and shabby furniture. Our sheets had stains, the shower pressure was weak, and finding a convenient outlet to charge phones was a struggle. The lodge itself was very nice, breakfast looked robust for people without dietary restrictions, and the staff/housekeeping was wonderful.

Everything was good. Heater was not working in 1st room. Had to switch rooms. But employees were great. Everything else there were no issues.

Great but not wheelchair friendly
It was a wonderful stay. The management we're incredibly kind and helpful. Whenever we needed anything, they were prompt and gracious about it. We were there before tourist season so they only served breakfast but we're very willing to let us use the dining room for playing games and eating takeout. Our only difficulty was that they are not very wheelchair accessible, we had someone with a walker and had to go quite a way out of the way to avoid stairs. But over all the stay was great.

Old place but convenient to all things to do
Location is good, not many choices for dining and shopping. Good location for all the outdoor activities. The place is old and room is very tight. Did not tried the buffet breakfast. We did not have any safety issue, but kind of wary the first, we were alone in the back of the hotel and no other guests around.

Wonderful hotel
From the friendly young lady who checked us in to the gentleman who served our breakfast, the entire staff was amazing. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. The chain hotels cant match the history of the Parry. Also, they had the most comfortable beds of all the hotels on our road trip.

Everything was great but the beds
We liked everything about our rooms except the mattresses. We had joining rooms. They were both clean and updated, they were quiet and comfy. We loved the history of this place. Literally the only thing we didn't like was the mattresses. 5/5 of us slept very poorly. The beds were hard and made a loud squeaking noise whenever somebody rolled over.

Okay for family trip
Bathroom fixtures fairly outdated and water runs orange from iron I assume. Breakfast was pretty average for a hotel breakfast but fairly decent pricing. Our heater broke the first night and the maintenance man was fantastic and fast. Nice location to everything in town.

Caveat Emptor
I was disappointed, given the amount I was charged by Hotels.com. I was enchanted by the description, but discovered that there are nicer places for the same price I paid. Room was a bare wood floor, and the total impression was of a place that had not seen serious renovation since John Wayne stayed there. Breakfast buffet bar (cost $10) was empty with no one ins itght to refill it.
