Not sure why this is a 3 star hotel. I had a 5 star experience with the customer service staff. I booked a standard room and wanted to upgrade. Stayed two nights here while touring Japan from US. Really enjoyed our stay in a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The whole vibe was great, including provided kimonos, private dinner rooms, communal breakfast, multiple onsens, gorgeous garden.
