Trip to Penticton

Our 2 night stay at this motel was safe, convinient & comfortable. We had all the appliances we needed in the room, the aircon was cool, comfortable beds & washroom clean with hot/cold water. The Okanagan Beach is just across the street, with restaurants & shops close by. The city centre is walkable & it's easy to drive coming from / heading to Vancouver, Kelowna or Osoyoos. Absolutely a great value resort motel.

The building and furniture are old. The mattress is comfortable, but the bed frame squeaks. Our room had a lot of fruit flies, and the couch was dirty—good thing I brought my own blanket to cover it before sitting. The cutlery and cookware are also quite old. We’re not very meticulous, but cleanliness is very important to us. On the positive side, the front desk staff was nice, and the location is close to the lake.

Pros: across the street from the beach and lake. Close to amenities, including restaurants and bars. Nice outdoor pool. Staff was nice. Cons: dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Pull out mattress had a stain and there was no bedding for it. Main bed was fine. Bathroom was fine.
