This place is truly a hidden gem, I wish that I was able to stay longer, but granted the opportunity I'll definitely be back! P.s. This was a lovely B&B run by the sweetest couple! From the moment we arrived, we felt like a part of the family. Unique roundhouse construction and great hosts who make your stay enjoyable, share details about the construction and are happy to give tips on the area. They won't let you leave hungry either. We reserved two side-by-side rooms for a family of four. If you find yourself in the area or perhaps taking the scenic route to/from Ottawa - this is an interesting and friendly place to visit for a night or two. We visit this area each summer and will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were wonderful, caring and welcoming. The home was beautiful as was the surrounding property. Gorgeous pond, flowers, and all sorts of beautiful plants. We would've stayed longer had there been an opening, but we would no doubt come back again on our next trip to Canada. Our room was amazingly clean, the bed was super comfortable, and so warm and inviting. Our hosts recommended a couple places to visit (a wonderful restaurant and a large art/gift shop nearby) and we followed up on their suggestions and both were exceptional! I must add that we had beautiful fall weather during our stay here which made our stay even more exceptional. We highly recommend The Gathering Place on Golden Ponds.
