The event was nicely done on Saturday. Love the mansion. Drinks were very difficult to get, longs lines, not enough staff or areas to get a drink. There was a very crabby man who seemed to be in charge. He was appropriate and keeping order but could have been much more personable and friendly. He was very rude.

The room itself was not great. Fan did not work, tv offered nothing (pairing to our device did not work), bed was mushy and not comfortable and there was a bad potpourri type odor in the room. In all, I do not feel the price per night was worth it. However, we did enjoy our time in Lake Geneva.

The people were friendly and the place was clean. The main house and bars were a sight to see. That said, the room was small, the wood furniture had gouges and chunks were missing, the bathroom was tiny, and the shower overflowed. There was no mini fridge, the walls were thin, and the neighbors were loud, drunkenly yelling at 1 am. The bed was creaky and definitely not meant to suit anyone of bigger size. Maybe my expectations weren't realistic, but for the price paid and the rating of the location, we expected our stay to be better than our stay at a normal hotel that's a third of the price.
