Relax Inn was a small, quiet, squeaky-clean, newly-remodeled inexpensive mom-and-pop jewel in Buena Vista, MI, which sports almost no jewels of any kind. But over the years the standards have fallen. Fridge needed to be cleaned better, candle wax (?) on the carpet, toilet's loose, sink faucet's loose. All of these issues could be fixed in a single morning w/o great effort or expense. But they haven't been.

We have stayed here before but this time the carpet was stained and dirty. The bedspreads also had stains. There was a big pile of garbage sitting outside one of the rooms and part of the roof was flapping in the wind. I think this was our last time staying here.

Property manager was incredibly polite and worked with us on a late check in. The inn was cozy and quiet. It was just off the beaten path to stay away from the crowds of Frankenmuth but close enough to drive in and visit. Awesome pricing and wonderful customer service!
