Great place to rest and relax. The view is great and the staff is outstanding. My wife and children had to leave really early to catch a train and they setup a table for them to have breakfast, even when it was outside their usual time. Is a great hotel to experience St. Moritz without having to pay that premium hotel experience but still enjoy the best of Swiss hospitality.

Since we knew the hotel was close to the railway station, we called for directions after exiting from the station. The staff walked halfway to the station, greeted us and brought us to the reception desk. The check in was smooth. The staff provided valuable information on the neighborhood and places for dinner. The best reception and check in in Switzerland.

I agonized about which area of St. Moritz to stay in. As we were there to ski, I chose this ski in and out property to maximize our one full day on the slopes. I couldn't have chosen better. Our double room was perfect. Also, we speak Italian, so we were pleasantly surprised to find out the gregarious, very personable owner and his staff were Italian. Like the saying goes, "it's not a party if it's not at Salastrains"... It was definitely a party! Grazie mille Signor Grillo dell'ospitalità eccezionale!

Caroline som betjente resepsjonen de to dagene vi var der, fortjener anerkjennelse for sin bistand overfor oss. Hun er en ressurs for hotellet. Beautiful views! Room is clean and staff very helpful , only thing from me I’m a light sleeper , they have bar and restaurant under my room, I didn’t get a good sleep and rest during the stay, it just me. Awesome ski- and ski-out !
