Beautiful location on short sands beach in York. There was a storm during our stay, and the waves just across the street from the hotel were amazing. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very welcoming!

Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The loaction was great and convenient. property was nice. Our only complaint was the room temp. It was very warm. The temp.outside was notnthatnworm but the room was hotneven though temp on thermostat was set at comfortable temp. air conditioner did not help cool room. In addition the AC unit actuallynhad front cover fall off in middle of the night, which was startling. Other disappointment was that on check out staff did not ask about our stay or if everythjng was okay. just took the keys and send your allset. with barely eye contact. There was not a lot of activity in the lobby at the time. We did however enjoy our stayand woyld go back.

We like the location of this hotel and its proximity to Short Sand Beach. The staff is friendly and the food is convenient but there is nothing fancy or outstanding about this well-established place, which is fine. The rooms are large enough for a family of 5 and parking is easy. We stay here several times a year and always have fun. (Anthony’s on the highway is great for a slice of pizza or a good sandwich!) York is a favorite.

Booked room with ease. Only issue was not initially getting the room I had booked. The front desk clerk was able to make the change without any issues. Very clean, neat and comfy. The beds are the best! Great view from my balcony. Amazing food at the Pub. Always enjoyable here.
