We went there for our 10 year anniversary and our stay was awesome. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very clean. We decided to take the late night ghost tour and it did not dissapoint. It was a tour full of great information about the history of the place and the ghosts that live there. We ate at the Jack Dempsey room and the food was great. Breakfast in the Pittman Cafe was just as good. We will definitely stay there again.

From check in to check out this was fabulous ! The decor was richly done and I felt like I stepped back in time . The room was small but comfy. Coffee in room is a nice touch for sure . The room was updated but felt historic . Super comfy beds, pillows and linens . Maybe next trip I will try the sister hotel Belvada but maybe not as I enjoyed my stay at the Mitzpah so much . Great staff also ! !

Old style hotel, but beautifully decorated in the era of its original opening. Staff is friendly and helpful. Make you feel at home. Very charming. Great bar and food. Rooms aren’t huge, but are size appropriate for the early 1990s. Apparently their sister hotel across the street The Belvada has bigger rooms.

Fun place to stay

It was great. Neat property and nice people. My only complaint is they had the heat in the entire building cranked up to 85 degrees. No exaggeration. I checked with a thermometer. Had to run the AC in the room constantly to keep it under 70.
