Bus stopped less than five minutes from the hotel - (flybus from the airport and then switched buses at BSI). Excellent location - very walkable. Breakfast was excellent and loved the room!! Quiet and safe.

Nice place and good location, just around corner from one of the main tour bus stops (number 9 stop). Great breakfast. The only thing is, no USB port for charging your phone. So if you’re coming from the US, bring an adapter for the Euro style round plugs.

Bare Bones not as good as hotels.com reviewed it to me. One towel one hand towel no washcloth no amenities kind of had an army barracks feel to it. Breakfast was decent staff was friendly with the hotel was nothing to get excited about. I'd give it three stars at most

Wonderful Reykjavik Lodging

We stayed one night at Skuggi before boarding a cruise. The hotel was fantastic, from the ease of storing our luggage until check-in time to the delightful breakfast in the morning. The staff provided us with restaurant recommendations, a city map, and got a taxi to the port for us. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We are considering returning to Reykjavik and will likely stay at Skuggi again.
