Lovely old hotel by the river. I work nearby so just needed somewhere to sleep. The single room and bed where both a decent size. Mattress was very firm. The hotel was really quiet and parking was easy, so no complaints. Will definitely stay again

There was an initial mix-up with my booking which was quickly sorted out. The location is superb for walking. Not many good local dining options within walkable distance but the hotel restaurant has a good range in the menu. The cooked breakfasts were very nice.

Stay was lovely check in easy except for the friendly man on the desk he was nice but felt the need to tell us all about his life which was nothing to do with us. Plus think you meed lights as you leave main building to go to rooms steps are dangerous as you cant see them.

Really nice old hotel. We loved the view over the water and stepping out of our room to feed the ducks. The chef was off on our first night but there were plenty of restaurants in easy walking distance.

Perfect for Heathrow

Cheap and cheerful chalet- style rooms right beside the river. Decor a little tired and dated but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay ahead of an early Heathrow departure.

I didn't have any expectations so wasn't disappointed ! Allocated a room in the roof was always going to be a challenge with luggage and no lift ! Granted, it was a very hot day, but it was after 11pm when I checked in and the room was still unbearably hot with no air-con or fan, not even a complimentary bottle of water And then when trying to have a shower the following day, having tried to sleep on a towel while sweating, there was no hot water ! So a cold shower had to be tolerated ! No apology from the management ! Not a venue I could recommend in the slightest !
