Property and service was great. Rooms were warm and it was cold (3c) outside.
While the rooms were a little small the everything was very clean and nice.
You do have to drive to get into town at night.

We wanted a hotel away from the Main Street and happy to have a room that offered a comfortable double bed that would suit is for a two night stay and a wardrobe where we could stand our case so we wouldn’t trip over it. We chose the cheap basic size room because the price was heavily discounted and had a fridge, tea and coffee kettle and a tv. To our surprise our tv had Netflix and other channels. The facility had a bar and lovely restaurant with exceptional staff including Loki and Michelle. We had a good breaky and lovely evening meal. The bar was well stocked. Judging by the size of the outdoor entertainment area and location I am sure this place gets booked out during the warmer months. With the little chapel in the grounds it looks ideal for small weddings. We would definitely stay there again.

Set in pretty parklands , short walk to Beechworth centre. Rooms are comfortable and clean if a little small. Good value for money. Nice bar and restaurant on site if you don’t want to wander.

Set in the grounds of the May Day insane asylum, this lovely hotel and its attentive, hard working staff was a great place to stay. The restaurant and bar area were great, the hotel has a warm cozy feel, the rural views and the tour of the old asylum were a bonus and the gorgeous grounds made for a peaceful visit. We will be back.

Rooms were very small- my fault for not investigating that it was the old kerford clinic- paid more money for a shoebox of a room than the night before in a lovely motel
The receptionist was gorgeous, friendly, inviting and helpful- a beautiful girl

The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. I wish we had spent more time relaxing around the property reading a book with a good cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
I was disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open on the Tuesday and Wednesday night.

The area is beautiful , however if you rent a room near the services door they bang it so much it shakes your room. Rooms weren’t that clean in the bathrooms, good size room though.
Won’t book again

The rooms were lovely. We understand that there was staff shortages therefore the restaurant was closed. But it would have been nice if the tables and chairs out the back were not covered in spilled drinks and cobwebs so we could at least enjoy some cheese and crackers. There was no staff on to ask for a cloth.
