Our stay at the hotel was because we attended the 100th birthday party for the hotel. After a very good meal and a lively dance band for entertainment, we stayed at the hotel instead of driving home. It was very convenient and the room was quiet and comfortable.

Great location at the beach in Jacksonville Beach. Classic old hotel built in Spanish missionary style. The interior has charm. It shows wear and tear though. We enjoyed to sit at the rooftop bar overlooking the beach having a drink.

This hotel is RIGHT on the beach. The continental breakfast was superb- hot foods, juices, fruitcup freshly sliced, bagels, muffins. We had signed up for a room with a sleeper sofa. The sofa wasn't a sleeper. They quickly brought in a rollaway that my son said was VERY comfortable. The hotel was celebrating their 100th anniversary when we were there, and their was a wedding as well, which made it a little loud. The parking can be tricky- the lot is across the street, and is sometimes full. All in all, we had a great stay.
