Safe, no-frills hotel in artistic neighborhood
This hotel was perfect for my needs as a budget-conscious traveler who wanted to stay near the museums, restaurants, and cafes in Santurce. It is aged and worn, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was nice and hot, and the neighborhood felt safe enough for my standards as a frequent solo female traveler. There are some very good restaurants nearby and the bus stop directly across the street provided reliable service to Old San Juan and beaches. If I returned and was on a similar budget I would definitely be comfortable staying here again.

The rooms are simple and sparse with a minimal of features. My bathroom was a converted coat closet. But the location is terrific. The staff is friendly, and the price is very reasonable.

The lobby was nice, the staff were helpful and there was adequate street parking. There was a working elevator. The hallwaysmto the rooms were extremely weird and narrow. The room was almost adequate and beds were just ok. However...there were a lot of cockroaches and that was disgusting!
