This hotel is likely the best one in town. It is very clean and safe, and so is the area around the hotel. It has beautiful architecture and decorations, rooms are remarkably comfortable and quiet. Ideal for working remotely, too. Restaurant on site has good basic food, and there are good restaurants in the area. Pool is great - large enough for swimming laps and beautiful, too. But the best part is how friendly the staff is! Owner is on site, too, most of the time. If I am ever in Matamoros again, will only stay here!

Overall, a good choice for a one night, just the A/C makes a little bit of noise, and the elevator needs an adjustment of speed since makes you feel illness at your first step outside.

Considering that it is Matamoros, everything was ok, unfortunately the air conditioning was like having a rotomotor by your side and it was impossible to sleep.

Room did not have hand soap holder and not enough towels were available. AC was off when we arrived so it made the room extremely humid. The hotel was very limited on parking spots, so 2 days I had to park in unsafe area. Dining area would close very early.
