Price is right.

Affordable. The price is right for a single room occupancy. Share bathroom. Basically a hostile but you can close the door on your stuff. Great location. In between chase center/oracle park and Chinatown. Access to the Muni and Caltrain. Bar is fun too.

Older property, they are "trying." Not a bad week day rate for 3 days. The bar downstairs has food. Close to grocery and downtown area. Be careful of the area after dark when there's no ball games...

The Utah is Old School SF Epic !!!

The Utah Hotel is a very old & historic place.... It is not an upscale resort hotel type lodge... So... no frills, reasonable price, basic accomodations. Small Room with shared bathroom set up. So if this is not your idea of a nice place to stay.... Ya can't complain !!!! Just Sayin'...The Historic Utah Saloon is on the ground floor & I had a Fantastic & memorable experience there. The staff, including Marina the manger & Vince the Bartender are absolutely Outstanding Human Beings... And all the Locals who hang out there are Fabulous !!! Very friendly & genuine. This place might be for everybody.... But I will never forget about the good times I had here !!!! Enjoy Life, Eh !!!

Upgrade to crack house or Motel 6 instead

Unsafe, unclean, noisy, and should be condemned. I've stayed in some pretty shady places all over the country and this was hands down one of the absolute worst. Windows don't close or lock. Door shuts but has 1/2" gap and easily opened without a key. Deadbolt inoperable. Small items stolen while at work, front desk complained when asked to review the security footage to my door for the day. Then, repeatedly skipped video when staff approached my door. Hotels sits above train line and two separate bars/ clubs. So, if one doesn't keep you awake another will. Other less than acceptable but less relevant "features" - room is listed as shared bath with 1 other room, 7 rooms share 1 bathroom. No hangers, soap, hand towels, or toilet paper provided. Furniture is unusable; torn/ worn and appears to have come from the dump. **I'll return to add pics from my phone (same as my Google review).

If you're looking to party all night then this is the spot for you.... This is not for anyone that has to work and is looking for peace to relax stress free.... Totally uncomfortable with the shower and toilet being outside of the room.....I felt like I was in a shelter not a hotel
