10/10 Exceptional

Lovely house and comfortable room. Easy check-in, quaint and close to both Marblehead and Salem. Breakfast was great. Would stay again.

The place was as advertised and very comfortable. It was in a beautiful building, and really added to the experience of visiting Salem.

This hotel is large, clean, well taken care of, and the staff are amazing! We slept well and enjoyed the back yard and patio area, and the small plate breakfast was just what we needed to start out day as well!

8/10 Very good

Comfy but needed some updates. Bathroom vanity was water damaged. Could use USB/C ports near bed. Window a/c unit was still in window and it was 17 degrees out and wind was entering through the gaps around the unit. But, still a very cute place and complimentary breakfast was lovely!
Lee, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The staff was pleasant. The room was passable. Understanding that it was a hotel room near Salem near peak Halloween activities, I get that things are more expensive, so that is on us. I don't feel the room was anywhere near worth the cost associated with it.
Krista, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Debbie, the manager, was outstanding! Light breakfast and parking was good. Since reasonable accommodations, in Marblehead, are hard to come by, this was a good choice aside from thin walls.
David, 7-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Lovely room with a comfortable bed and Roku access to watch TV on a rainy morning prior to our departure for Salem tours. Breakfast healthy options of three kinds of granola, two kinds of yogurt, variety fruit cup and a variety of breads and muffins… coffee tea or water. Plenty of parking and a short drive to a variety of restaurants. Salem is only a 10-15 minute drive away
Mary Beth, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Nicely decorated with friendly staff and a nice complimentary breakfast.
Christopher, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Overall, we enjoyed our stay very clean & the suite was a nice layout. I was a little taken aback by no elevator as we were on the third floor. My husband had to carry our luggage up the two flights of stairs. Also, we had to use the back entrance as the front wasn’t available which wasn’t terrible but when taking Ubers it would be nice to go right out the front doors especially at night.
Marlene, 2-night trip

Great historic building room was very spacious. Everything was very well done and quiet.
Michael, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great location, with off street parking. Old home, refurbished. Easy walk to beach. With high price I would expect it to have warmer atmosphere and be a bit less worn out. Furnishings very low end, plastic chairs. Tiny bathroom sink was a joke, annd not a funny one. and spots throughout need touch up.

Lovely historic stay. Enjoying my coffee in the garden area; peaceful!
Elaine, 1-night trip

This place was absolutely lovely! The staff were helpful and the breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. I could not be happier!
Meredith, 1-night trip

Beautiful but tired hotel

.Beautiful boutique hotel in historic Marblehead has all the makings of a noteworthy stay I really wanted to love this place but the old building is showing its age. Pealing paint above the shower, towel bars barely hanging on the wall and blinds that can’t be raised. I would give it 3.5 stars.
Julie, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Nice hotel. Very clean. We borrowed bikes to cycle to nearby restaurant. Excellent breakfast.
Julie, 1-night trip

Great beds- terrible cleanliness and staff

The staff at the property on Wednesday was so rude! The bottom on my white socks were black because of the floors just in our room, if they were black; when was the last time they truly cleaned the room correctly? They say they do daily refreshing of the room, however there was no door sign and they didn’t even touch the room. The bed was comfortable however the cleanliness completely steers me away.
Megan, 2-night trip

Nice place, very clean, great bed. No tv in the bedroom in a jr suite.

Great place to explore the coast

I spent 2 nights here, exploring the New England coast. The room was comfortable, with a comfy bed, nice hot shower and a small fridge. Staff were friendly and the simple breakfast in the morning was delicious. Off street parking and great place to explore the area.

Robert, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This was a beautiful stay. It was very clean, quiet, and charming. The room was big, clean, and had amazing features like the molding and details on the ceiling. The bathroom was nice too. There are restaurants and entertainment close by. It was an easy process checking in and out. Very satisfied, and will definitely be coming back.

A great place to stay in a beautiful old building! Love all the original details! Quiet and relaxing. I'd love to see it in the summer!
