Check in was quick and has friendly staff. Location was very quiet. Room had full size refrigerator and stove/oven. Beds were comfortable. Close to town and across from the water. Nice location and affordable for a quick stop before heading to Canada.

Comfortable One Night Stay

Newly renovated rooms. Very comfortable room for our one night stay. We would stay here again.

Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable, and instant service when i had a small maintenance issue. I asked about dining options and was directed to a delicious and friendly Thai restaurant that also had seating with a view of the water.

Very clean older hotel with incredible access to a cute downtown and the ocean. Located a half block off the water, along popular route for cyclists and sightseeing.

Good price. Simple but practical appliances. Approachable and friendly staff. Convenient location. Two queen sized beds in two separate room offers good privacy. The back bedroom is a bit colder than the main one. Or maybe I did not get the air conditioner?

Anchor inn. In Blaine

It was a clean room with remodeled ceiling. Had a rustic feel. Close to the bay. Walking distance. Definitely an older builder but furnished nicely.

8/10 Very good

The outside was clean and you park right in front of your room which makes it super easy to unload/load. The room basically has a kitchenette with everything you need for a long stay: mini frig with freezer, basic dinnerware, silverware, knife, cutting board, cheese grater etc. The bed was soft and comfortable but the pillows were super hard and thick, we just couldn’t sleep with them so we went out and bought some at the nearest Walmart. We did not like that our key did not work for the deadbolt. We would consider staying here it again if it’s still a good value.

Clean and comfortable, but dated

The room was very dated, but clean. The beds were very comfortable. The pillows and mattresses and were great. The sheets were soft and clean, but the blankets were thin and need updating. The TV's were larger flatscreens with full cable channels. There is not a fan in the bathroom so the invite way to vent the steam from a shower is by opening the window that is IN THE SHOWER ITSELF. Still a clean, comfortable hotel that I'd definitely stay in again.

Usually when we book a motel, we approach it like we would a campsite. This is easily the nicest motel I've ever been to with modern touches blending with a ceiling of thick wood features. You can just tell whoever runs this place has worked hard to make it comfortable/up to date. The phone system seemed a bit confusing, but considering most of us have cell phones - it would still be easy to work out should there be an emergency. The view of the water was just refreshing. I hope we can come back!

4/10 Fair

Refrigerator kept humming all night pretty loud and thin walls so I could hear people next door talking.

Took about half an hour to check in because there was no staff on site and alternative number to ask for assistance did not go through.

Decent, but dated, hotel

I booked a double room online. When I got to the hotel, I had to call from a landline phone that was outside the office that had open and vacancy signs lit up. The woman said she'd be right there. There is no place inside to wait, or to check in. The woman spoke English in a thick accent and repeatedly asked if I was staying there by myself. I answered yes each time. She put me in a single king room instead of the double bed room I had reserved. I was still charged the same amount. I stayed here once before and had a double room, so I wanted the same type of room. Unfortunately, the single king room is much smaller than the double. The double in my previous stay had a queen size bed in a bedroom and another in the main living area of the room. The living area was set up like a studio apartment, with an extra bedroom area. The king was a standard room with a king size bed in a single room area. The rooms are very dated, but the beds and pillows are comfortable. The sheets are soft and clean, but the blankets are thin and in need of updating. The double room had an apartment size fridge, and the king had a full size fridge. Both had microwaves. The TV's are large flat screens with full cable television channels. The bathrooms at not have fans, they have windows in the shower that can be opened to vent the steam. I'd stay again as long as I actually got the room type I reserved.
