Close to Bio park and Aquarium as well as Old Town. Pillows were too overstuffed and location was noisy.Bed was comfortable and check in was easy

Comfortable stay, close to Old Town ABQ

Perfect spot for our stop during a cross country trip. Cute courtyard style motel, no frills, but clean and cute.
Lu, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Hotel was clean and okay for a one night stay.

The stay was okay. The breakfast could have been better. The only hot food was the self made waffles.

10/10 Exceptional

The room itself was just a regular motel room. Clean and comfortable. The young lady working the desk was really sweet. I appreciated how friendly and relatable she was--even when we didn't get there until almost 2:00 a.m. Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Nice Enough Motel

This place is nice for a roadside motel. It seems that the interior has been updated. Nice staff, everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. I don't know about the neighborhood but I didn't walk anywhere. It's basic but fine.
Janna, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

This is a very old hotel in dire need of updating. Should not be rated higher than a 5

6/10 Good

Hotel is clean and convenient but worn. No comfortable chairs in room, but small table with two wooden chairs. Noise from busy street and could hear voices from next door room. Keep in mind….get what you pay for.

Front desk was nice.

10/10 Exceptional

This is an older motel offering basic services. It was extremely clean. The fixtures are a little worn, but very adequate. breakfast area was clean and supplied with basics including waffles. The staff was friendly. It is all I needed for a sleep, shower and breakfast on my journey It was extremely clean. Some fixtures were somewhat worn.
Barbara, 1-night trip

Catherine, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. When we had trouble with the TV he came right away and fixed it. He also gave us suggestions for dinner. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.
Gary N, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Not what we expected.

Very noisy street close by, it sounded like a race strip. Stayed 4 nights, no maid service which we were told when we checked in. Someone or an animal threw up on Friday second level walkway in front of a room entrance and it was still there when we left on Monday. Maids cleaning rooms that had been vacated should have seen and reported this. The trash dumpster gate was left open during day and it made area look trashy. Small parking lot. Ironing board needed a new cover, it kept pulling away from board when trying to iron. Check in person was very friendly. It is a motel.
Jonelle, 4-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Greeted wonderfully and quick. Gave me a recommendation for steak dinner (The Monte Carlo) and it was really good! Great price and the only drawback was the loud cars racing up and down the street in front during the night.
David, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

We enjoyed our stay here at Sandia Peak Inn, even though an older property we were very impressed with all we were offered. Yes you do hear highway noise but we sleep with a white noise machine so we didn’t hear much! Great continental breakfast, waffles were delicious! Definitely will stay here again! Thanks for the recommendation of Monte Carlo for dinner, that too was very impressive! We’ll be back!
Joann, 1-night trip

Cheap & Cheerful

The pros: Great price and close to Old Town, Downtown, University area and Bio Park. Very clean and the staff was friendly and kind. The cons: Being right on historic Route 66, you get more than your fair share of people with loud cars and bikes revving engines at all hours. This isn't the hotels fault - you'd probably have this problem at any of the old motels on the strip. But if you're a light sleeper, it's something to consider. The fixtures are a bit dated, the AC was pretty loud. The bed was reasonably comfortable. For the price, this is a great spot. I spent 3 nights here and would come back.
