Amazing price for the comfort and quality of stay. One of the best Motel 6’s. And the front desk woman was very kind. This place obviously is a no frills sort of situation, but it’s definitely the best version of that. The value is so good.

Marina Motel 6 is Awesome
If you’re looking for a budget friendly option in the Monterey Bay area, look no further. The Marina Motel 6 is perfect. And they have great coffee in the lobby (until 10.) Only 15 mins to Monterey and there’s a Denny’s right next door.

This is a dingy motel. The floor was filthy (as evident via the black sludge present upon shower). The toilet had about 1/4" clearance from the door swing and was very close to the wall. Of coarse, the thinnest of sheets were used on the bed.

Cockroaches in my room
In the middle of the night, I woke up to find cockroaches scattered everywhere during the night. They were on the night stand, in the bathroom, crawling along the bed headboard… It was horrible. I called the front desk and they were able to move me into another room. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep well and wanted to check out asap.
