Don't want to go back for family trip with kids.

It was family trip with my two kids(5 and 2 years old) for Ttet holiday. The room was freezing cold so we were kept waking up in the middle of night. I saw huge Cockroch in the room and probably Rat in the room too( know why? all kids snacks had chew up and i found next morning when I try to give it to my kids). We originally booked 2 nights but left the hotel after staying one night. We ask hotel the situations why we need to checked out early but not a buzz at all.

숙소는 고풍스럽고 정원은 잘 관리가 되어있습니다. 직원들은 모두 친절합니다. 조식은 오션 레스토랑에서 메뉴에 있는 것을 주문해서 먹었습니다. 여러개를 주문해서 푸짐하게 먹었습니다. 실외/실내 수영장이 있고, 수영장에는 소독냄새가 나지 않습니다. 실내 수영장은 스팀 시설이 있어서 이용했습니다. 비수기 인가? 손님이 거의 없어서 수영장도 하루 종일 우리만 사용했습니다. 2박했는데, 도착한 날과 다음 날은 맑고 더워서 수영장 이용하기 좋았고, 마지막 날은 방에서 정원으로 폭우가 쏟아지는 것을 보는 것도 좋았습니다. 단점은 화장실과 방에서 엄지 손가락만한 바퀴벌레가 뒤집혀서 있었습니다. 3일동안 기어다니느 것 까지 합해서 10마리는 본 거 같습니다. 둘째날 밤에는 방안에서 다수의 도마뱀도 기어다니는 것을 봤습니다. 헐.. 침대 커튼이 없으면 도저히 못 잤을 듯 합니다. 그리고 비수기여서 인지 해변에 공사를 해서 먼지가 수영장과 숙소로 마구 마구 쏟아져 들어왔습니다. 해변에 있는 식당은 식사를 할 수 없고, 수영장도 실내 수영장에서 놀았습니다. 조식은 음식을 방으로 배달해줘서 방에서 먹었습니다. 아침일찍부터 공사를 해서... 숙소와 직원들은 좋았지만, 바퀴벌레와 공사중인 먼지로 지내기 힘들었습니다.

Welcome retreat!

We were one of very few groups when we stayed due to time of year but the staff were nothing but accommodating regardless and upgraded our room on arrival. There was no one else using the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi but was put on whenever requested, towels were refreshed constantly and everyone had a smile for us. We had a few different massages which were lovely and the food was great. We had a lovely few days relaxing here after an adventure filled trip, it was just what the doctor ordered. We had our taxi and bus booked for us and on leaving our bus was put back an hour so they extended check out to make us more comfortable. The resort is an hours drive from Nimh Binh. We had a check out of the town and what was open was lovely but not a ton was due to time of year again I expect but wasn't needed because the resort catered perfectly for our 2 days!

Wspaniały resort i obsługa

I was in Van Chai Resort for last 3 weeks. Just came back home. I found this place as unique, beautiful and in the local style. But I travel a lot and I have been almost in all continents and I saw many beautiful resorts specially every time I look for the same local style. While the unique place is not only pretty buildings, good place, trees, flowers, etc but above all the people. People who serve visitors every day. And for the first time in my life in Van Chai I’ve met wonderful staff of resort. Employees of Van Chai are very helpful, friendly, kind, caring in very natural way. Cool and great staff. But two persons deserve special distinction and they are Haiha and Thuy Vu. Both absolutely fantastic and the best. More time I saw Thuy and I can say she is absolutely professional, carrying about all details making tourists think only about rest. Ladies bravo. Thanks to them and specially Thuy professionalism I’ve made decision to come back to this resort with friends. Best resort, best people ever:)

En fantastisk trevlig resort med bra personal, mat, rum och område. Personalen hjälpte till med allt och gav ett positivt intryck. Synd att området utanför resorten inte hade så mycket att tillföra.

Nice place, nice pool for Kids

The beach in Van Chai resort is not clean as the beach in B, C area. Breakfast is normal, services is lower than 4 stars standard. When guests checked out, no one said thank you or goodbye. I don't think will come back again, services and facilities in North areas of Vietnam generally lower than the Center and Southern. I prefer Nha Trang, Ho Tram, Phu Quoc. Thanks.

Superbe hôtel

Superbe Hôtel, bâtiments s'inspirant des maisons traditionnelles du Nord Vietnam. Tout y est de très bon goût. Les chambres sont magnifiques, très confortables et très bien décorées, très bonne literie. La piscine à débordement proche de la mer est dans un cadre idyllique. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce lieu magique. Nous étions pratiquement les seuls clients à l'hôtel, étant hors saison.

Spoil your self at least once

Everybody needs to be spoiled once in a while , I chose this hotel for that reason to end my holiday on a high note , and I was not disappointed it was everything that I could wish for . Yes it cost a bit more than your average hotel in Asia , but Wow it was worth every penny , and was the cream on my cake to end my last four days in Vietnam , I will definitely be doing it again . Construction and noise

We would not have stayed at this resort had we been aware of around the clock noise and construction on three sides of this resort (including new road). All facilities were not available until day before we left. On a Saturday morning at 6 am we were rudely woken by a large group in the resort, playing loud music and team building exercise over a loud speaker. The resort was aware that this was happening and did nothing to stop it. Our room vibrated loudly. We were are party of 22 people and we made the best of a bad situation.

The resort was quite nice but ....

The resort itself was quite nice, the staff friendly, but there were a few issues including the spa and indoor pool not working until the day before we left. The beach was really grey and not suitable for swimming. But there were two other major problems - the team building group who came for one night which had karaoke playing through the whole resort til 11pm. It was so loud that we had to the turn off the TV because we couldn't hear it. The following morning at 6.05am, we were awoken with extremely loud music and "Hello, hello, hello" blaring out from the microphone as the team building recommenced. When family members complained, we were met with 'it's team building', followed up by a small plate of fruit. The ultimate problem was though, the 24 hour construction going on around the resort as the town was building new roads and resorts ready for the major tourism event the following week. The noise was non stop, but the shuddering was worse. We had to put tissues behind the pictures on the wall because of the rattling. The trucks beeping at all times of the day and night and the machinery noise was awful. I know it wasn't Van Chai's fault, but no discounts or offers were made to compensate in any way. There were 22 friends and family members at the resort, and honestly, if there was another resort near by but away from the building works, we would have left. In another year, I am sure the resort will be lovely, but not yet.

Sam Son resort

We were in Thanh Hoa City for a friends'family celebration and Sam Son,some 12km./30 mins. by car,was the best location for our stay. Resort is located on the beach and that and the resort pool provided the only real entertainment and activity focus. Local family groups were abundant but while the staff were very friendly and helpful ,it was sometimes difficult to communicate in English with them. the place is not geared toward western tourists.

Un hôtel fabuleux

Hôtel absolument fabuleux ! Tout y est parfait : les chambres, les parties communes, les piscines, le spa, le personnel adorable, la déco, la cuisine (une des meilleures dégustée au Vietnam). Mérite 6/5 Un seul bémol : Sam Son est une station balnéaire sans grand intérêt.

Ruhiges Resort

5 Tage Aufenthalt vor Beginn der Hochsaison, daher waren nur wenige Gäste im Resort. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, sehr gute Küche. Viel Ruhe, großzügige Zimmer. Ruhiger kilometerlange Strand, der zum Spazierengehen jedoch nicht zum Baden einlädt.

It was still low season with routine maintenance happening so not many guests staying. But there was a peace and calm about the resort that made it very relaxing and rejuvenating. All the staff were attentive and helpful, especially at reception and in the restaurant. The pool was a big hit with our 7yo son but so too the grounds. The beautiful gardens could be appreciated from many resting points. Breakfast menu could have more variety, but dinner choices were excellent. Ocean view room was plenty big enough for 3 people and well equipped without being excessive. Clean, tidy, and mosquito net over bed standard. Located right on water front, it was easy walking distance to local town. Several restaurants immediately next door. Overall a great place for a relaxing weekend with the family or a romantic getaway.

寒かった

１２月３１日に１泊しました。お部屋は古いお寺みたいな感じで今までは近代的なリゾートホテルしか泊ったことなかったので、インパクト強かったけど、季節的に外気が寒くて、暖房していても部屋が広い分寒かった。お風呂で温まろうと思ってもお湯を作るタンクが小さくてバスタブにたまる前に水になってしまった。朝食は種類少なめのビュッフェでした。朝食とった後散歩をしました。自分たちが泊ったコテージの他たくさん建物があって庭も綺麗、海が目の前、プールも感じよかったです。到着したのが夕方だったので、ホテル全体の良さをわかるのが遅かった。次回はもう少し暖かい時期に来たい。

직원들의 친절도는 베트남에서 보기 어려울 정도로 매우 훌륭.

직원들이 매우 친절하고 좋았습니다. 편하게 쉬고 오기에 충분했습니다. 다만 성수기가 아니라 식사재료 준비가 약간은 부족했던 것 같습니다. 그렇다고 식사가 맛없지는 않았습니다.
