This is one of the best hotels in Insadong

Our brief stay at ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong was top notch! Upon arriving to the hotel, the front desk staff greeted and welcomed us warmly. We were quickly checked in and given early access to our room. The lobby was very clean and well organized as were the restrooms on the first floor. The seating area has a great view of the street. Hotel location is excellent-it is walking distance to many places of interest for visitors.

Amazing location and good hotel

Very nice hotel, location perfect and very friendly staff. All good and clean! When we were there the AC was not working but probably it was only temporary. Highly recommend it!

An excellent location with many great neighborhoods and sights within walking distance. The hotel is quiet and clean. My only complaint is an insufficient number of laundry washers and dryers. Only two of each available to guests and pricey (5000 won per load per machine.)

They have wonderful staff and very nice views from the hotel window. It was very clean and organized since you could ask for something like only your bed sheets cleaned or replaced towels with a simple paper card. A quick tip is that most things open later around 10am-12pm but even with that everything is empty until the afternoon and night time. Also, I just used wifi to get around Seoul since there were many Public Wifi areas. Thank you Insadong for a wonderful stay!

Bad experience!!!

We booked for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 17 and 11), we gave ages during booking but when we got to the hotel our room was for 3 people. 3 pillow, 1 twin and 1 double bed, 3 towels, 3 pairs of slippers. When we went to investigate we were told the room was for 3 people and I showed her the reservation but she refused to help. We were stuck! They offered for us to pay for another room but we already paid for this room. We needed the business center, we confirmed it was there and when we went to use it the keyboard didn’t work. When we went back to reception she said keyboard is broken but everything else works. How do you use a computer without a keyboard? All and all we were really frustrated. As a family of 4 that travels a lot we will NOT be back.

Great location

Great location, western beds, very clean and fresh! Breakfast was a little simple but good value for what they charged. Location is so great for this hotel if you want to explore Seoul. Good price for the standard, location etc. They have a self service laundry which we used as a family.
