Basic, run down and cockroaches in the kitchen, carpet needed a serious deep clean as full of dirt, bathroom grates needed a good scrub, balcony covered in bird droppings. Fire alarm went off on second night, barely heard it in the room, luckily one person heard and woke the rest, however an alarm was left continuously going for 2 days straight after. You get what you pay for, definitely won't be staying again, barely what I'd class as a 2 star hotel, these 5 star reviews are totally paid for.

Clean facilities and consumables, and easy and convenient access close to transport. Police station across the road made it very safe. However, property itself was in quite poor condition with many scratched, stained or poorly repaired aspects. Also, the traffic noise throughout the night was fairly substantial - although this is fairly unavoidable. Fine for the one night that we stayed just to sleep in, but wouldn’t have wanted to stay there for a longer time frame.

We had the suit and it Was perfect for a large number of guests. However when we arrived there was no one at the reception desk, apparently they called in sick. We had arrived early but I had emailed them previously to let them know that we will won’t need the room until later that evening and We needed to park our cars. Due to no one being there we were unable to check in. The only person to assist was the cleaner. She did a fantastic job and went and called the manager to sort out our cars and how we could collect our room key. After about half an hour it was all sorted. When we arrived back later that evening our collected the key from the overnight box. Had no problems. The room was ok for the 2 nights. Furniture a bit old but we didn’t stay there much. Great location . Would stay there again .

The property is actually canned Harbour View appartments- VERY difficult to locate in an Uber at 11pm. Called reception twice in Uber, as they close at 11pm and at no stage was it mentioned that there’s been a re-brand! Also, booked paid for “Deluxe” Queen bed and double bed. Actually got a double and a single. Sofa stained. Overall grotty and smelt of mould. No room service ( as advertised) and be prepared to order Uber eats !

The location was good . What I didn’t like was the staff member on Sunday morning when I checked I was advised that the room would need to be checked so as to get the $100 back that was ok I have no problem with that so the staff member had to leave the office unattended while she checked the room . I had to wait while I was waiting other guests were in the foyer waiting for service . The staff member eventually returned and said there is a broken tile on the floor I said it was there you could tell it was an old break and had not been repaired she said to me did I advise reception I said no and she said I should I replied to I need to go into room with pen and paper and write down every fault she said no , I replied you just said I need to advise reception . This hotel needs a list with faults in rooms . She said can I wait 10 minutes for someone to come I said ok in the mean time another guest had his room checked and she come back and said in front of others his room is ok very rude . I said look I have to go the reply was 2 minutes I said I already have been waiting she said she can’t get anyone Anyway she eventually gave me my $100 back and said if there was an issue they would phone me I again stated the broken tile was already there . Anyway later that day I phoned back and I got the same staff member and she told me that in no way was I responsible as the broken tile was already there and was known to other staff . very poor service and no respect .
