Wonderful house the hosts were welcoming and helpful breakfasts plentyful and excellently cooked and presented. The room was just as seen in the picture. The location and scenery spectacular although not for those who have difficulty walking as very hilly.
In all a very good holiday woild definitely recommend.

We went to Ingleside for our anniversary and we both felt thoroughly welcomed by Diana. The room was wonderful and the location was absolutely brilliant. It took us 2 minutes to get to the local cinema. I cannot rate Ingleside highly enough

Had a lovely long weekend here. Location is generally quiet despite being in the middle of the small town, with a short walk to beautiful views. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything. Would happily stay here again.

The Guest house has a wonderful situation on the hillside overlooking the village with the Hollerday Hill behind the house. D and K were great hosts and the rooms were just fine.

We stayed at the Ingleside last week and found it to be faultless, nothing was too much trouble and everything was provided including maps and walking guides.
If you order in advance you can also have a home cooked delicious and reasonably priced evening meal, you will have to bring your own wine though because it isn't a licensed premises.
We thoroughly recommend this guest house and would definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff. Owner Keith greeted us with a nice cup of tea. Excellent knowledge of their location and always available to offer advice on some of the many walks in the area.
Breakfast, cooked on the aga was fantastic and very welcome ahead of our walks.
Hotel very clean and well cared for by owners Keith and Diana.

From the moment we arrived, we were made welcome, by Diana and Keith. Our room was lovely, with superb views. The breakfasts were delicious with a varied menu, in a lovely welcoming dining room. We were nt far from the mountain railway, which for a small charge, takes you down to Lynmouth, and the beach. A lovely weekend was had by both of us. We would highly reccommend this lovely guest house :)

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Ingleside. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, full of advice about the area and have a real attention to detail that makes you feel at home and looked after. The room was beautiful, very comfy and clean, with all the amenities you could want and special touches like books to read and even amusing coasters by the bed! The cooked breakfast is delicious (cooked in the aga) and plenty of toast and cereal is also available. The porridge was perfect (and I'm a porridge addict!) The atmosphere is friendly, very relaxing and many of the guests have been before- which is a great endorsement in itself! The house is at the top of a small hill, so the views are brilliant, even watching the rain clouds roll in is impressive. But in the sun it is even more beautiful and the walks possible from here are stunning. The funicular railway is only a 2 min walk away and takes you up and down to Lynmouth and a wealth of shops and places to eat and drink. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely go back as there were lots more places to visit!
