Great location if you want to explore different areas of Manhattan because of its central location. It’s close to Pen Station as well so if you’re going to be utilizing the subway it’s great for accessing a lot of train options. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Convenient location, next to the police station so feel safe but not too busy in terms of traffic, very close to subway entrance. Overall room is a clean and well kept. Bed is comfortable and no complaint. Will definitely use it again next time in NYC.

Decent with some real flaws!

This is a decent budget hotel but we paid a fortune for our room ($370 all-in). The room was clean and ok sized, decent shower. The biggest two knocks were the A/C was directly across from your head and had a baffle that made it blow right across your face. The other was luggage storage when you arrive & depart… it’s unprotected “self storage”! You roll your bags into an easily accessible room in the lobby and simply leave it there, literally hoping no one takes it. No bellman, no security, just fingers-crossed. I have never seen this before, other than maybe a hostel!

Its proximity to Penn Station as well as being able to get onto the subway on the same block makes this an easy pick for wanting to explore the city.
