We really enjoyed our two night visit here! Our host, Connor, was very welcoming and friendly. He even assisted other guests with their car problem! Happy hour was fun out on the patio - we met some very friendly people. Black Bear Manor is right downtown with stores just an easy walk away. Also very close to the river! The hotel is old and quaint. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. Our host Elizabeth was wonderful, attentive and concerned for us as we had had a rough day getting there, fire in Ouray had a divert around from Silverton so our trip took us 4 extra hours to get there. Then we got a flat tire,Elizabeth met us at the door at 8 pm with a smile and chocolate chip cookies. Would recommend the inn.
