Good location and good value
Right on the quayside a few hundred yards from the millennium bridge with easy access to the bars and restaurants beside the river. Clean and comfortable and a great breakfast, and can't complain about the price.

Excellent
The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from. Only downside was we couldn't park in the hotel car park as was full so ended up paying £24.50 for a car park overnight.

Inadequate Parking Facilities
Car park was full, and had to park a 10 minute walk away, up a very steep hill. This hotel is absolutely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, young children or anyone who doesn’t like hiking!

Good stay
Had a good stay only problem we had was on the first night the lifts weren’t working and as I’m 75 and my niece had a bad back we had to walk up to the 4th floor.
Next day only one of the lifts was working.

Some Description Flaws
Customer services at the front check-in dress wasn’t great. Staff seemed tense and weren’t friendly.
Breakfast is described as FREE on the booking form but when we went to get breakfast, we found out it was not FREE. We were told to pay £16 each. They need to change the breakfast wording and say that it is NOT FREE. Breakfast is paid £16pp.
Hotel is clean, good location, quite decent but without parking facilities.

Decent hotel, very clean. Lovely staff. Short walk to main mewcastle. Only issue was room key not working when my bf tried to get into room snd i was asleep when he went down to get a replacement he was met by a rude person on the desk. Rest off the staff were dead canny.

Not family friendly
Overall stay was ok. At night we were interrogated like criminals.
I appreciate it is new castle and hotel was full of teenagers and above coming for night out. But when you see a family, approach should be slightly different. When shown keys and given room number and confirmed name, they didn’t need to ask my wife her name and my son his name.
That was little OTT and embarrassing, as I wasn’t sure what they were trying to achieve from it.
