8/10 Good

Wonderful views, close to good local restaurants. No breakfast option. Room and facilities clean and comfortable, just a little delay at check in, had to wait for staff.
David, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

There is no restaurant there is no breakfast on sight the room was old and decoration was dated needs updating the garden needs cleaning and maintenance the whole house needs maintenance anyway enough of that the area was lovely the sea was warm and tranquil the best breakfast is top of hill as going home
Michael george, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This is the second time we have stayed at The Moelwyn . Always a lovely welcome. At £70 per night for the room it was fine . We were able to bring our own food in to eat at the hotel- one evening we ate fish and chips with a bottle of wine on the terrace with a lovely view of the castle and seaside nearby - perfect
Patricia, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

We were greeted in a very informal and friendly manner and shown to our room. The room was a lovely room with sea views. It was very very clean and plenty of space including king size bed. Would recommend anytime
Ann, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

A quick overnighter while in the area for a golf event. Happy with our stay and no complaints - the lady who checked us in was very helpful and friendly, especially around directing us to use the dining room for takeaways which suited our purpose.
Nicholas, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

This is in an excellent location and we found it good value for money. There were no staff on reception and it took a while to find someone but we had complicated matters by following behind someone else. There was actually a buzzer and a mobile number on the door which we had not seen. When we located staff member, she was very pleasant and helpful.
Jacqueline, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Lovely, quiet hotel. Very clean. Great welcome.
Teleri, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

The Moelwyn may have been a wonderful seaside Hotel and Restaurant years ago, but it is no longer. There is no restaurant, no breakfast. The ocean view room we were given was a sweltering hot attic room with a slit to see the ocean from if you climbed onto a wooden box.
Brian, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Lovely sea views nice clean rooms and nothing was too much trouble for the owners
Elizabeth, 1-night trip

The hotel was advertised as B&B, this is what I booked, no breakfast was available, nor was there the said restaurant as advertised, host pointed us to menus available in the room.

Jo Stephen are warm and welcoming, very friendly and attentive. The hotel is perfect for us, warm clean and cosy, a wonderful location, with the most magnificent views of the bay. The sunrise from bed this morning was incredible 💖 many thanks to Jo Stephen for looking after us during our stay, lots of tips on local knowledge. Carparking very convenient too. Lovely stay
