Nice but a maze!

The place is nice and was very clean. The downside is parking for Placemakr guests is way on the 6th floor rooftop. The building is much larger and cavernous than I anticipated. It's easy to get turned around navigating all the hallways and doors that have to be opened with an app on your phone.

We stayed with Placemakr Reno. It was a studio apartment in an apartment complex. It was wonderful! Very friendly staff and incredibly clean and new room. It was fully furnished with a couch/sitting area, kitchen, and laundry inside the room. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The apartment was a godsend after a long trip. The building and property are brand new with beautiful decor. The location is super convenient with easy walkable access to the city for food and other fun things. It's also right next to the train and bus station. The area felt very safe and clean. The amenities and products ready to use for laundry, shower, and cooking were super thoughtful! The staff were also wonderful and friendly! I'd love to stay again and try out other placemakr properties!

We had a great stay, Maxine is amazing and walked us through everything from getting parked to getting to our room. The rooftop is so fun, we had our kiddos with us and we had a great time playing g games while waiting for the Friday fireworks show to start across the street at the stadium. Brand new apartment complex so everything is fresh and shiny. The girl who checked us in was an absolute angel for putting up with the absolutely RIDICULOUS check in process. That needs be fixed ASAP. Other Placemakrs are much more hotel like when it comes to check in.

If you are a family and staying in the reno area THIS is the place! The rooms are nice, spacious,clean and have all the amenities because they are actual apartments. Staff is friendly and accommodating. They have a nice pool area with couches and a fireplace and also a rooftop area with games and lots of seating. It is right across the street from the reno aces baseball park which is great if you are coming with young baseball players like we were or just want something to do. We will definitely be returning!

Our stay at Placemakr was frustrating from the start. It took us over an hour just to get into the building because the Latch app never worked. I was outside in the dark trying to get in, calling the front desk repeatedly with no answer. A tenant eventually let me in. When I finally found the front desk, the staff member first said I was using the app wrong, but when it didn’t work for him either, he admitted it often doesn’t work. He gave us only one key card and said they didn’t have another, which made things difficult for two adults. I tried to troubleshoot the Latch app, it never worked. Parking was also inconvenient. We were told there was elevator access from the 6th floor of the garage, but there wasn’t. We weren’t offered a luggage cart and later learned they were kept in the office out of sight. Inside the room, we found only two towels for three people. Since my husband had the only key card, I couldn’t leave the room to get more, and no one answered the front desk phone. During this time I couldn’t even take our dog to the pet area and ended up having to put him on the balcony. The pull-out couch was extremely uncomfortable, and our daughter ended up sleeping on the regular couch. We also found an empty vodka bottle under the pull-out bed, which was disappointing since the room otherwise seemed clean. We appreciated that dogs are allowed, but the access issues, unresponsive staff, and lack of basic supplies made the stay stressful. I would not stay here again.

Nice Property But Poor Communication

Room was as described, but the property address is listed as Evans, and the garage entry is actually on Lake. The garage entry is unmarked. The communications never explained how to enter the garage. We had to call the leading office for direction and they had to remote open the garage doors to get us onto the property. The stay was fair with extremely overstuffed pillows. On our checkout day, the housekeeper began knocking on our door at 9:15 AM. Checkout isn’t untill 11:00 AM. I told the housekeeper we wouldn’t be out until 11:00 AM. She apologized and left, only to return and disturb us again at 10:05 AM by knocking again. This could be avoided with “do not disturb” signs which aren’t supplied. Ok otherwise.
