A lovely hotel, with an excellent bar and lovely atmosphere with very friendly atmosphere and warm and welcoming staff
Simon E, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

A hotel in the middle of nowhere shouldn't charge for parking
Simon, 3-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Loved the large room size and huge bed. Also the decor in reception, restaurant and bar
Valerie, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

Cheap, basic room was ok but on road so was quite noisy (esp as it was so hot and no air com so needed the windows open)
Kay, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

As a single disabled woman with a little dog, i have felt safe and comfortable here. The staff are fantastic. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is quiet and beautiful. The other hotel guests are quiet. There is a lovely atmosphere. I have a bath tub. The grounds are lovely. The outside of the property is stunning and old. Inside is very modern. Huge car park. You do have to pay.... but the vost of stay is such good value... it doesnt matter.
Nina, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The staff were very efficient, friendly, attentive. The room was amazing
Laurence, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Very disappointing. Beds uncomfortable no soap window sealed up, breakfast awful, charge for carpark, failing.

James, 1-night trip

4/10 Poor

Areas of hotel varied greatly between some clean, bright decor and poor maintenance/repairs and dated room furnishings/carpets. Signal (wi-fi) on room TV very poor. Room light switches dirty/grubby. Staff on reception friendly enough but gave wrong information on dining times. Parking plentiful, car park entrance had deep/wide potholes. Limited evening menu choice. Breakfast was a decent selection, but some items not kept hot.

Vincent paul, 5-night trip

6/10 Okay

The property is a ideal location for our needs.
Paul, 4-night trip

2/10 Terrible

I arrived at 10pm and was told that they did not have my reservations and that the hotel was full bar one room for which I would need to make a bank transfer in spite of there being a clear written sign at reception that they only took credit cards. I did not have sufficient detals for the transfer so at 11pm I drove 1hr to Loughborough and fortunately found a room at Premier Inn. So 1/10

6/10 Okay

Cheap hotel in the middle of nowhere

Despite the name, this hotel is not in Kenilworth, but in Hasely. Nice old building, but difficult to access the bedrooms, which do not have their own bathrooms. My room had not been cleaned when I arrived. Rooms are very sparse, not even a bedside table or lamp. Hotel had the unique combination of the most expensive but worst quality breakfast I've had anywhere.
1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Entire hotel was filthy. Horrendous customer respect or care. I arrived at the hotel at almost 1am… room was filthy - dead insects on my duvet, then I was moved to a second room not without attitude from the hotel manager. The 40 odd pictures I am showing you - are of the second ‘clean’ room. This room cost me £300, and I couldn't stay more than one night and the unprofessional and disinterested staff watched me cry from exhaustion in my room while doing Nothing to improve the quality of my stay. I had to leave the hotel the next morning. Expedia tried to get in touch with the hotel - and they didn't answer the phone despite being available to do so. I feel so strongly about this - that as a lawyer i’ve actioned steps as the hotel have broken several sections within several consumer laws.

10/10 Excellent

Easy, clean and quiet!

Great staff, very accommodating, great value for money, very quiet, clean, tidy, and no issues.
1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

very happy with this hotel...nice and appreciate the staff.
charandeep, 2-night trip

6/10 Okay

A basic hotel with a skeleton staff, giving the impression it had just been taken over by new owners. The rooms and bathrooms were dated, suggesting this hotel's heyday was in the 1990s, and need an extensive refurb. The staff were not fluent English speakers and appeared to be learning their jobs. I didn't see any female staff. But all the basics were in place - clean sheets, comfortable bed (my double was actually two singles clipped together and the mattress was smaller than the base!), kettle in room, hot shower and soap available.
Kathryn, 1-night trip

2/10 Terrible

Disappointing.

There was a passport in the wardrobe, two beds pushed together which is never comfy. Charged on check in but business had paid for it. No food.
1-night trip

4/10 Poor

In need of some essential repairs. Window surrounds poor. No electric handrail in bathroom with no plug to hand basin. Seemed as if new takeover with limited renovation funds. Well situated for purposes of journey. Needs further capital spent on improvements
Richard, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Friendly staff and really nice place
