The hotel was a bit difficult to find due to a lack of signage on the outside. Once inside we could not easily locate which floor we had to go to. The room was tired but clean and having a balcony was great. The location more than made up for that. Really, one could not have asked for a better location. One minor drawback, nobody could speak a word of English. Google translate helped.

The lady, Margarita, if I remember her name correctly is a darling. she is courteous, helpful and always smiling. Would absolutely recommend the place to anyone going to Madrid for a few days, especially for the first time. 😊😊

This was a fairly basic hotel, with perfectly adequate facilities, smack in the middle of Madrid, up a busy lane near a main square. No frills and largely left to get on with it. Luckily, I was towards the rear, away from the street noise.
