Really nice inn in a great location relative to town and the university. The staff is wonderful, the beds are very comfortable and the hotel has so much charm. The restaurant is very good, wished it stayed open later, and served breakfast, but otherwise it was a great experience.

Hamilton, New York has few options for parents of Colgate University students. This is a huge deciding factor for my daughter's college choices. Colgate Inn is very nice, very well appointed, clean, and quiet, but it is very expensive and one of the only choices. I will note that the breakfast was almost inedible but the coffee was decent.

Its air conditioner didn't have the constant fan option so it went on and off making it hard to sleep a little. Small issue compared to how awesome the rest of it was!!!
