We had an excellent stay and the staff were great. The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice modern bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and the complimentary afternoon tea was also great. The hotel is in a great location within the old quarter and overall I would highly recommend this hotel. This is our second time in Hanoi, staying in the Old Quarter. Le Premier Hotel is exceptional. The staff are incredibly attentive in ensuring our stay was comfortable and as expected. We arranged a walking food tour in the Old Quarter and day trip to Ninh Binh through the hotel’s concierge. In fact, they reached out to me after I booked my stay to arrange any transportation or other amenities. Once connected with them, they were informative and kept me up to date with confirmations and clarifications. They even helped us arrange airport transport at our next destination. Their service was simply superb. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The hotel’s restaurant was very good. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable, with afternoon tea service included. The dinner menu, while more expensive than outside in the neighbourhood, was still an excellent value for hotel prices. Most dishes were under $10 CDN. Their beef noodle soup (pho bo) is an absolute must have. The broth is clean and clear, with a deep richness in its balance of beef essence and spices. We had pho bo around the city, and the one at Le Premier is still one of the best we had on this trip. It was a bonus treat that they serve it as part of their breakfast buffet. Do not miss. Finally, the Luxe rooftop bar is a gem. Situated on the 9th floor with clear views of Hoan Kiem lake and the bustling traffic intersections that is so characteristic of Hanoi and HCM.
