Amazing!

We absolutely loved this hotel. The room was so new and clean and came with all the amenities you need, including slippers! The beds were very comfortable. The quality of the hotel was really similar to staying at the Four Seasons hotels. The staff was so nice and we especially appreciated the breakfast staff! The breakfast is delicious and we enjoyed eating there every morning to fuel up for the day. The only downside for some people may be the bathroom, there needs to be more frost on the glass doors since there isn’t much privacy.

Nice clean new hotel, very comfortable bed, lots of freebies including shaving and dental kit, tv with streaming and chrome cast. Only design flaw is the bathroom is just frosted glass so the light from the bathroom in the window isn’t blocked so it makes the black out curtains on the main window pointless.

One of my best hotel experiences

The Liman is one of, if not the best hotel in the city. The attention to detail is stuninng. From the spacious, thoughtfully decorated rooms to a fantastic bed and bedding. The bathroom is very beautiful with bath products from niche Atelier Rebul. The breakfast is equally amazing. The freshest produce inspired by the Mediterranen area, especially Turkish (Liman means port in Turkish) with spreads such as sucuk, padrons, a fresh salad bar, good olive oil, smoked salmon and a fantastic smoothie. To name a few. Eggs are cooked to order. However, the best thing about the hotel is the service; from front desk to housekeeping and restaurant, all people are very attentive. They know who you are, and greet you personally, when you walk around the house which is a great asset. I have stayed at a lot of beautiful boutique hotels around the globe and this one is truly special.

Beautiful stay minus the bone-chilling cold shower

The Liman was a lovely hotel with great service at check in. The room was updated and spotless and had all the ammenties one would need. The bed was super comfortable and the walls sound proof - 5 stars across the board for the vibe, style, cleanliness and staff friendliness. However, the water pressure and temperature in the shower were the absolute worst I have ever experienced in my life in a hotel. There was zero hot water and the bone-chilling ice-cold water that did come out of the spouts just trickled. Standing there and shivering while trying to splash ice-cold water on yourself after a long day of travel and sightseeing was not what I had in mind. And the shower looked so new and beautiful. I guess when one is expecting a spa-like experience and doesn't receive it, it's a matter of style over substance and it truly was the only downfall this hotel had. In terms of the location of the hotel, I personally liked that it was a little outside the city center because the noise level wasn't bad at all and I had my window open a crack all evening. Also, I'm a city gal (born and raised in Chicago and have also visited and stayed extensively in NYC 4-5x a year for well over 20 years) so I didn't feel in harms way at all walking back and fourth to the hotel early in the morning or super late at night - but I guess if you're not used to a "city vibe" you may assume it's a rough area - it's not. Nobody bothers you and everyone just minds their business.

Le petit déjeuner est de très bonne qualité, avec un large choix, et le service en salle est attentionné et professionnel. Une salle de fitness est à disposition. L’accueil à la réception est courtois et efficace. Cependant, lors du petit déjeuner, une maître d'hôtel m’a demandé de payer un supplément pour ma fille, car elle avait plus de 12 ans. Après vérification sur son ordinateur, elle a reconnu que cela n'était pas nécessaire. Ce malentendu aurait pu être évité avec une vérification préalable. Le rooftop est actuellement en travaux, mais il promet d’être très agréable une fois terminé, avec probablement une belle vue sur la ville. Petit bémol : l’absence de parking sur place. En revanche, l’hôtel est très bien situé et facilement accessible via les transports en commun. Dans l’ensemble, une très bonne expérience dans un hôtel moderne et bien équipé.

Nous avons simplement regretté que la salle de bain ne soit pas opaque, nous avons vraiment manqué d’intimité à 4 (couple avec 1 enfant et 1 ado) pour se laver et les WC.
