We will be back!

My wife and I enjoyed an evening getaway in one of the tiny cabins located on site. Our stay was made more enjoyable thanks to the cleanliness and comfort of our tiny cabin. The wooded setting provoked calm. Additionally, the varied amenities (firewood and fire starter, coffee, tea and S’more’s For two was a wonderful bonus.

Well-appointed adorable cabin

What a lovely and unique location. I loved waking up and opening the blind to a full window wall looking into the trees. Spotless, well-appointed, adorable.

The postcard cabin we rented was everything we needed for a rustic Michigan getaway, but not too rustic, it was so nice to get out of the heat in the AC! They even thought of our dog as there was an outdoor leash provided for the dog’s outdoor time. Having the firewood on site was so convenient as well! Hot showers, a toilet, comfy beds… we will definitely be returning! The private lake was the perfect place to cool off and chill too😎 I think they may have thought of everything needed!

Nice experience

Nice little get away for my husband and I. Very nice to have the dry wood bundles in a bin ready for a campfire not to mention the delicious s'mores! Would have been nice for more private lots, outdoor showers and not being able to hear the nearby highway traffic as well as the trains passing nearby. The trees do mask viewing them which helps. Not many restaurant options but South Haven nearby! :)

It’s was a good one day get away from normal day to day life. My wife and I were able to enjoy our whole day and night together. The cabin is well equipped for a small stay and has plenty of privacy and ambiance for a great cabin stay in the woods. Thanks

This is the first time I've stayed in a cabin and I was truly fascinated with this cabin. I highly recommend it. I'm sure I'll be back soon.

I just don't like being able to not have a fire after 10 pm even if your quiet and still respectful of other campers. But other than that it was a great day providing everything you would really need to get through a relaxing weekend.

It was very clean and the staff communication was excellent! The area was kept very well and each cabin had ample privacy. My only complaint would be that it is quiet time all of the time. We did not travel with our kids or grandkids, but if we had, there's no way to expect that all of the time and if so, they're probably not having fun. Most campgrounds have quiet time after 9 or 10pm. Just a suggestion.

We experienced a minor problem with the check-in process, as we did not receive the text with our site number and access code. A simple phone call solved the problem and the remainder of our stay was fantastic. The cabin was clean, much larger than expected, and outfitted with all the essentials. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed looking out the large windows at night. Roasting marshmallows over the campfire is a camping tradition. The cabin was stocked with s'more fixings and even the roasting sticks. This is not your typical campground. There are no playgrounds, beaches or nature centers. It's just you and nature. Make sure to bring everything you need. There are no local dining options. South Haven and Fennville are approximately 30 minutes away. Our only negative would be the 35.00 daily destination fee. It includes wood, s'mores, coffee, tea and popcorn. The fee was added for each night of our stay, and although we stayed at the property for multiple nights, we got the same extras as those who stayed for only one night. All in all, the Postcard Cabins deliver exactly what they advertise; a quiet, relaxing, glamping experience. We enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend it.

Magique

City Escape

The perfect retreat from hectic city life. A semi-camping experience without having to drag a carload of stuff with you. Plus a clean/private shower is so nice after a day spent outdoors and around the campfire. The cabin was spotless and had every imaginable amenity.
