Terrible experience. Check-in was a total mess for 7 people and 4 rooms. 86 year old placed on a third floor of a building without an elevator. Had to argue to make them correct it. Actually none of the buildings in this Resort are accessible. None of them have elevators although this place was build in 2008 (no excuses that it’s an old property). Distances between rooms, restaurants, pools and lobby are huge, paved with irregular pavers. Wheelchairs are impossible to use due to the irregular surfaces. Internal golf cart system to transport elderly people is offered but waiting times were so long that we gave up using it. Signage providing directions throughout the property are almost non-existent. Impossible to know where you have to go to get to your building. Dozens of people lost throughout the property every day, begging for directions, totally frustrated. Majority of the staff doesn’t seem to be happy, although very few exceptions were very attentive and supportive. App that is highly recommend by the staff upon check-in is useless. Scheduling of Resort activities is never updated and internal map directions are also outdated. I learned that it doesn’t work because Spain is responsible for keeping it updated, so any local changes to activities have to be informed to Spain by email before they can update the App. Note: Spain is 5 hours ahead in time zone. Total non-sense. Pools were really good and food and drinks abundant and of good quality. I’ll never go back.

Razoável

Esperava mais pelo hotel. Tivemos sorte em ficar no piso térreo, hotel tem outros dois andares com acesso apenas por escadas. All inclusive que precisa pegar água de filtro no corredor, além da água ter gosto. Após reclamação nos forneceram galões de água mineral. Ao que tudo indica os funcionários sabiam desse problema com a água, inclusive os funcionários são bem treinados e simpáticos. Embora nosso quarto ficasse bem perto da praia, o Bloco 5 é longe do restaurante principal e toalhas de piscina, hotel muito grande onde precisa andar bastante para acessar as demais instalações por caminhos em zig zag. Achei a brinquedoteca fraca pelo padrão do Hotel, se chover o espaço é pequeno com pouca opção, poderia ter uma piscina de bolinha e um pequeno playground para crianças até 4 anos. A comida do restaurante principal parecia melhor e mais saborosa do que nos restaurantes com reservas.
Vista do mar, o quarto era bem próximo da areia, contudo ficava longe das instalações principais do Hotel.
Pelo que entendi todos os quartos tem banheira separada do chuveiro que é bom para não escorregar no banho normal.
Após reclamação da água filtrada ter gosto, entregaram água mineral.

Unido resort que super recomendo

Único resort que frequentamos, inclusive todo ano estamos la. Estrutura maravilhosa com varias opções de laser, piscina, restaurantes. Nao há aglomerações de hospedes, comuns em alguns resort que ja fui e nao voltei mais pela falta de educação e comportamento dos mesmos, principalmente no restaurante e piscina. Tem piscina para quem quer barulho, musica, brincadeiras e tem a piscina para crianças, piscinas para quem quer sossego. Bom serviço de bar e piscina, somente nesse ano que observamos alguns dias um déficit no atendimento na piscina mas nada demais. Restaurantes otimos, sem aglomeração, todos se servem com tranquilidade e sempre com ótimo atendimento nas mesas. Sempre reservamos 5 dias ao ano para ir ao iberostar praia do forte. Super recomendado. Tem cafeteria 24h Tem serviço de quarto ate as 22h, caso nao queira ir comer nos restaurantes. Tem os restaurantes temáticos que precisa de reserva e de acordo com o numero de diárias. Bastante cadeiras na piscina e praia disponível, salva vidas sempre presentes, equipe de animação para adultos e crianças todos os dias.

Relato de uma família com criança especial Infelizmente, neste ano, nossa experiência no Iberostar Selection Praia do Forte foi extremamente insatisfatória. Somos pais de uma criança com necessidades especiais e, como em anos anteriores, informamos com antecedência sobre as necessidades de nosso filho (8 anos, usa fraldas) e solicitamos um quarto próximo às piscinas e com maior atenção. Ao chegarmos, encontramos diversos problemas no quarto: ar-condicionado não funcionando, travas de segurança quebradas, parte da mobília no chão e um sofá-cama inadequado. Após relatar os problemas à recepção, nos foi prometido que a cama extra seria providenciada e que o ar-condicionado seria consertado. Fomos então realocados para o quarto 5210, mas a distância da piscina e a falta de estrutura no hotel tornaram nossa estadia difícil. Além disso, o Starcamp não conseguiu atender às necessidades do nosso filho, e a falta de atividades inclusivas para crianças especiais foi notável. A comunicação com a gerência e a falta de acolhimento foram frustrantes. Depois de tantos anos frequentando (Ibero Bahia), nossa experiência no Selectionfoi decepcionante. A falta de acolhimento, especialmente para famílias com necessidades especiais, foi algo que nunca esperávamos. Infelizmente, esta será nossa última estadia, e faremos questão de compartilhar nossa experiência com outras famílias.

Resort lindo e familiar

Hotel é enorme, lindo, muito bem cuidado, possui várias piscinas, algumas mais agitadas com música, outras bem calmas e silenciosas. Vários bares e pontos para pegar bebidas e sorvetes. Praia é ótima para caminhadas. Quarto é amplo e bem confortável. Tem o restaurante principal e os temáticos, com reserva, que valem a pena pela experiência de um jantar mais calmo, mas ainda prefiro a comida do Buffet. O atendimento é excelente, todos sempre bem humorados e simpáticos. Adoramos!

Infraestrutura ótima. Funcionários no geral muito atenciosos. Porém a alimentação de forma geral pessima. Drinks aguados… Falta de organização nas atividades, programação precária. Restaurantes mais procurados fechados durante o período de carnaval, inviabilizando agendamentos, gerando ainda mais desconforto quando se paga por categoria select e só consegue ser atendido em categoria inferior.

Decadência

Caiu muito a qualidade dos produtos , principalmente da alimentação que é oferecida nos diversos restaurantes . Muita quantidade e pouquíssima qualidade , para o que chamam de um resort de” luxo “ Outro fator que me chamou a atenção desta vez foi o despreparo de alguns funcionários. Há ótimos funcionários , porém há também uma parcela que claramente jogam contra a empresa ( sem vontade , dificultando tudo , mal humor … e acabei questionando um deles para saber o que estava ocorrendo e como resposta obtive que o resort está despedindo muita gente, diariamente e ele estava esperando a vez dele . E não menos grave , me senti muito incomodado ( eu e minha família ) com a quantidade de fumantes em áreas proibidas do resort ! Ou seja não há o mínimo controle e portanto fumam onde quiserem . De lado positivo , o Spa , muito bom … Vale a pena !!!
