The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was 15 mins walk to Old Montreal and Old Port and also 15 min walk to the downtown area. Also there is a IGA market within 2 mins walking distance. The beds were very comfortable. There are stairs at the entrance of the hotel and some steps to the room so it was Ok for us but not suitable for everyone. I wish they included pans besides pots to prepare breakfast eggs. Overall I would suggest this place to anyone who would like to visit Montreal.

Our group of 4 had an excellent stay at the Mercer. The room was very clean and modern. Parking was easy and convenient, the kitchen was well-stocked, and we had access to all amenities. Public transit was less than a block away. The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

This property is stunning! The pictures don’t lie - impeccably decorated and quite honestly the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! The front desk employees are lovely and extremely helpful. Perfect stay for families. Full kitchen and separate sleeping spaces make for a very comfortable stay with young children. We also appreciated the black out blinds curtains. Mattresses and bedding were very comfortable Less than 10 min walk to metro gives you access to all that Montreal has to offer. Friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary parking as well! We would absolutely recommend the Mercer hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Loved the service apartment feel of the hotel. My room was large with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom so this would have been a perfect family hotel. Staff are friendly and while the numeric code entry might seem complicated at first, its really easy to manage.

Amazing Stay

What an amazing stay! Loved the condo. Very elegantly decorated and very comfortable. The condo is equipped for everything you need. We stayed one night to go see a comedy at the Bell Centre which was within walking distance. Loved the parking availability just across the street. I would definitely stay at his location for a longer period of time.

The only thing we didn't like was the heating but we already addressed the issue with the reception and they said they will take a look at it. Otherwise, everything was clean, well decorated, well furnished and very well located. It was a bit noisy inside the building but you're downtown so that is to be expected

I liked the area and proximity to old Montreal. However, the room was not advertised correctly. It was mentioned 2 king beds and one queen.....the third bed was not a queen but a double. It was also a sofa bed. Not what we planned for 6 adults. Also, there weren't enough chairs for everyone in the kitchen. Only 4 chairs for 6 people. The staff was nice enough to give me a rebate for the inconvenience.

This place is hands down one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in so far. Everything is new and clean. I love how the modern interior complements the preserved classic style of the building. We met three front desk people and they are all pleasant and very helpful. So many restaurants nearby, you don’t have to worry about cooking. There’s also a 2 minute walk grocery if you prefer home cooked meal. The Basilica, Underground City and the port are a few minute drive or you can walk too. 5 stars is an understatement!!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Mercer Boutique Hotel. It was our first time in Montreal (and Canada) and our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 young children) could not have felt more welcome. Some things to know when booking this hotel- 1. There is a receptionist/employee at the front desk at all times 2. The parking is in a lot across the street from the hotel and is included in the cost of the room 3. There is an elevator into the hotel but it takes 3-4 steps to get from the street into the hotel so it may be hard with a wheelchair 4. There is a grocery store (IGA) and playground around the corner 5. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and you can get to the subway/underground city in about 15 minutes 6. There was laundry in our unit which was incredibly convenient, as was the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms 7. The room/suite and common areas were incredibly clean Hope this helps, we'll book here again if we ever return to Montreal!
