Great location, nice and comfortable rooms. The restaurant and bar gets very busy and loud at night, but as soon as you go upstairs to the rooms you can't hear anything

During my stay I sustained an injury breaking three ribs! The staff were most concerned and helped me throughout a painful ordeal. I would like to thank each and everyone from the General Manger down for the support provided. What a superb team. Thank you.

The atmosphere of the hotel was excellent, the restaurant and bar had very good food options. There was no lift and there was no extractor in the bathroom, so the room felt quite humid.

The restaurant in the hotel was phenomenal! Every meal I ate here was delicious. It is walking distance from shopping, historical sites, and I loved the overall vibe. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone coming to Edinburgh.

Rabble is a really conveniently positioned accommodation. Rooms were clean, comfy beds, everything needed. We chose the vege breakfast, all very nice apart from the vege haggis, have had better. Staff all friendly and helpful.

Fantastic helpful staff, amazing cocktail menu, beautiful decor, comfy bed and well appointed room.
Not for anyone with mobility issues due to steps and no lift.

Nice quirky hotel. The rooms were really good with a lot of amenities. The only thing that let us down was the music in the bar area. Was to loud to have a proper conversation with someone.

We spent five nights at the Hotel Rabble. Basically, the background noise (especially the filling and emptying of glass and garbage containers late at night and early in the morning) on the side street to which all windows face was very loud, so it was not possible to sleep well. Unfortunately, this is also due to the fact that the windows were not well isolated. The cleaning of the rooms was also only average, even though the rooms were modern and generously furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the à la carte-breakfast was also delicious. The location of the hotel is absolutely great and all the sights were within walking distance and easily accessible by public transportation.

Really friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Only slight downside is the bed was not that comfortable. The mattress was uncomfortable. Sorry.

Lovely boutique hotel, clean fresh rooms, the staff were wonderful, great breakfast and a lovely relaxed vibe in the evening for cocktails. Very central.
The only reason I’ve given them a 4 for facilities and not 5 is that our room was on the third floor, 6 flights of steps with no lift. Difficult at 65 with a bad hip. The room overlooked the back alley, and you heard the loud noise of empty bottles being emptied into the skip.
But that aside I would stay here again….but would ask for a lower floor. The manager and staff were great

Beautiful hotel but could not sleep either night due to noise coming from downstairs when looked out window staff throwing bottles in bin and loud chats having a smoke at silly time of the morning

Very quirky entrance and you go through the restaurant and bar to get to the hotel rooms, which felt a little strange but super friendly staff.
Corridors and stairwells felt a bit too dark and smelt a bit damp but room was nicely equipped and clean enough. Floor was very uneven and creaky and upstairs above us was very loud, you could hear every footstep. We were room 7.
Breakfast was really nice and overall we would recommend as the price was very good and location was only 15 mins walk to the main streets and Waverley train station.
