Small hotel in the historic building in the old part of the city. Close to main attractions, few minutes walk from lots of restaurants and shops. Friendly and helpful staff, good service. Internet access in the room wasn’t stable. I would stay here again.

Best of Ancient/Modern and Location

Excellent building and rooms, especially bathroom, very spacious and modern in a 500 year old building restored. Staff very helpful to us as English speakers. Location, Location so close to main attractions. Safe place. Courtyard great for breakfast and lots of tea/coffee. Owner sophisticated. Helped us rent a car and get to rental spot.

ここのホテルは名前が変わった様で案内看板も変えてなく行き難い。 また朝食が8時半からでホテルとしてはいかがなものかと思う。 さらに観光に関しても空港行きのバスについても管理人らしき人は何の情報提供もしてくれず、翌日夜にオーナらしき人にたまたま出会えてが調べてくれた。 シャンウルファはほとんど英語が通じない。 泊まるだけならいいが観光を考えているなら向かない

Full of character. Stay for the experience.

We stayed for two nights. The booking through Hotels.com did not show on their system but they were very helpful and made us comfortable. It’s an historical area so I would recommend messaging them beforehand to find out the best parking as you will have to consider this with luggage. The website was being worked on. Reception staff was very helpful with recommendations on what to do in the area and where to eat. Entrance was via a back alley with little lighting like most of these konagi are so bear in mind.

Personeller karşılamadan yolcu etmeye kadar çok ilgililer. Kahvaltısı vasat, kızartmaları fazla pişirilmişti, kalem böreğinin peyniri kötüydü yiyemedim ama konuşunca bunları da düzeltirler sanıyorum. Banyoları bölgedeki diğer otel banyoları gibi havasız ve kötü kokulu değil. Komidinlerde telefon vb. cihazlar için kablosuz şarj imkanı var. Tekrar gideceğim.

Öncelikle deluxe oda aldık ancak otele gittigimizde iki alternatif olduğu söylendi. Küçük bir oda gösterildi önce zemin katta, sonra o odanın altında mahzen gibi rutubetli ve karanlık ama daha geniş oda bizim tuttugumuz oda olarak gösterildi biz de mecburen küçük ama zemin kattaki odaya geçtik. Temizlik, konfor olarak çok zorlandık oda kliması yetersizdi yatağın üstünde kıllar vs kendi çarşaflarımızı iyi ki getirmişiz dedik. Otopark ile ilgili aradığımızda otoparklarının olduğu yaklaşınca yardımcı olunacağı söylendi şehir merkezi otoparkına yönlendirildik ilk girişte bavula yardımcı olundu sonraki her ihtiyaçta otopark ve otel arasındaki 6-7 dk uzaklık yaz sıcağında eğer eşyalarınız da varsa işi zorlaştırıyor otopark ücreti de bizim tarafimizdan ödendi. Sabah kahvaltısı normaldi.

Konak Otel konsepti için ideal bir yer. Ancak yeni bir işletme olduğu için eksikleri de var. İşletme sahibi Azad Bey de bu konuda gerekli eksikliklerin farkında olduklarını en kısa zamanda giderileceğini ifade ediyor. Otel Çalışanı Özcan Bey misafirlere çok ilgili. Aracımızı park ettiğimiz yerden otele kadar valizlerimizi taşımamıza yardımcı oldu. Temizlik açısından bi sorun yaşamadık. Dediğim gibi eksik bı şey olduğunda hemen yardımcı oluyorlar. Standart bı kahvaltı var. Bizim için yeterliydi. Otelin zamanla Eksikleri giderdiğinde çok daha iyi olacağı düşünüyorum.
