Good location and low price but unfortunately had a chaotic stay that led to me booking another hotel. It looks like they've recently put in some sort of air conditioning, but the electrical in the building is not equipped to handle it. We noticed the lights flickering after the air was on, and then lost power in our room completely. When I went to ask, it seems like other guests lost power as well.
Our initial room had a king sized bed and street facing window for some fresh air. It also had a sofa and a decent sized dining area. Because of the power outage, we were moved to an interior room with a smaller bed, and no dining table. We weren't compensated for the difference in room type. In addition to this, the majority of our second day there was no wifi, as the electrical situation was still unresolved.
After all this a simple ask for an extra bottle of water was rebuffed, and I was told to walk to the Oxxo up the street.
If you just need a place to sleep, this will do, but if you are looking for an enjoyable experience, I would look elsewhere.
