. This was converted military base. Just realizing in the summertime there is no AC. There are no places to store your clothing and one place to hang out for pieces of clothing. No bureau nothing. It was a joke.

The hotel was perfect for coming in late at night from thr airport or just before flying out. I stayed her twice on my recent trip to Iceland and it was perfect. It is closest to the airport and they have an airport shuttle service. They have some construction going on, however, the hotel is very clean and relaxing.

We stayed for a night, the property is conveniently located about 20 mins drive from the airport but just like every other place in Iceland you need a car to get around. The staff recommended to go hunting for Aurora borealis and it turned out to be a great suggestion. We spent the New Year’s Eve under the stars with the northern lights performing their mesmerizing dance.

Everything was wonderful bathrooms were great and it was very quiet. Staff was great the only thing was in the room we were staying in there was a weird stain on the sheets and the people before left socks that hadn’t been cleaned up.
